The Advanced Medical Assistant of America Web site made its humble debut in December of 2000 from a small living room corner desk. The author and registered owner of the domain, known on the Internet as simply Danni R., recognized the need for a functioning medical assistant Web site and established the very first Web site on the Internet that was created by a medical assistant exclusively for medical assistants.
Prior to the launch of the Advanced Medical Assistant of America to the World Wide Web a search for a medical assistant Web site yielded very poor results. While the Internet abounded with Web sites created by and for registered nurses there were virtually NONE in existence for medical assistants. Fortunately this has changed.
