The Theoretical Neurobiology unit (principal investigator: Prof. Erik De Schutter) is a research group affiliated with the University of Antwerp - UA (Belgium). We study cerebellar function using realistic models of neurons and neural networks combined with electrophysiological and functional imaging studies in rats. We also develop neural simulation software. The images on our pages show voltage images of a modeled cerebellar Purkinje cell.
