Central Jazz Service is a jazz band that performs locally in central Pennsylvania and central Maryland, including Baltimore, Camp Hill, Carlisle, Frederick, Gettysburg, Harrisburg, Hershey, Lancaster, Philadelphia, York, and the surrounding areas.
“Central Jazz Service” is a concept that developed over a seven year period as founding members Peter Grahame (guitar) and Tim Wolfe (saxophone) collaborated on a variety of jazz-oriented projects in and around Harrisburg, Gettysburg, and Frederick. The focus of Central Jazz is on playing music that has a broad appeal yet retains a true jazz flavor.
We are a group of experienced musicians who love jazz. We play a standard jazz repertoire (see Songs). We emphasize service: you will find us reliable, professional, and courteous.
