PROFILE

Mr. Basra has over 22 years of experience in the mining industry ranging from milling and processing, analytical laboratory supervisor, to managing a technology based company focussed on water treatment processes for the mining industry. Currently managing and supervising the CEMI metallurgical and environmental testing laboratory. Involved in all aspects of laboratory planning and operation with regard to Acid Base Accounting, heavy metal removal, solution purification, hydrometallurgical research and the full range of general metallurgical testing including grinding, flotation and cyanidation. High density sludge pilot plant testing at Red Mountain, California; Kerr McGee Chemicals, Mississippi; Tiwest, Western Australia, and Zortman, Montana. While at Coastech Research was involved in the construction and operation of both laboratory and field pilot plants for the testing of bioleach systems.
