Some photographs I took at the lantern festival. I thought it was going to rain, but except for a few drops near the end, the rain held off. Avatar was still on my mind, so that might have affected how I experienced things that night. It was a wonderful ceremony, especially after the crowd started to thin out and a man began to play the flute over the hushed pond and the floating lanterns. One of the best things was probably getting to hang out with some NEPE photographers.
