The Cedar river runners Club is dedicated to northeast Iowa's most active running community - the Cedar Valley! Be a part of the family-friendly atmosphere at CRRC events year-round!
CRRC is an organization of running enthusiasts from Cedar Falls, Waterloo and surrounding areas. The club is committed to promoting the sport of recreational and/or competitive running and to supporting the goals and ambitions of members through activities, programs, and resources. Club membership offers many benefits and opportunities, including:
Sturgis Falls
The CRRC and Cedar Falls celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Sturgis Falls Half-Marathon in 2003. Along with the accompanying 5K, the two late-June races average more than 1,000 entrants. The Half-Marathon is run on Cedar Falls' expansive paved trail system, while the 5K enjoys the scenery of the city's shaded residential streets. The course is USATF certified (TAC # 03003-MF)
Hit the Turkey Trot trail!
The annual Turkey Trot is held at Hartman Reserve in mid-November, and features a course that changes yearly. The approximately three-mile race covers dirt trails, steep climbs and treks through sandy riverbeds.
