- The Center for Collaborative and Interactive Technologies (CCIT) at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas uses innovative approaches to provide award-winning, up-to-date educational resources for health care professionals, educators, students, patients and families in the United States and around the world. In 2005, CCIT provided almost 10,500,000 pages of educational resources to the more than 2,300,000 visitors to its websites. Its live programs reached an additional 60,000 health professionals. In addition, at least 1,000 primary- and secondary-school teachers, representing 24,000 students, received professional development in Baylor-developed materials. Over the past ten years, more than 100,000 Baylor-produced teacher guides have been disseminated.
