Description
First hand observers will see that Catherine Miller's work speaks for itself. All pieces are original, creatively designed, and skillfully executed by the artist herself.
At an early age, Catherine was determined to make a career of glass engraving. Her inspiration originated with an article in National Geographic covering the dying art of glass engraving. To help preserve the craft as well as utilize her talents, she became adept in cutting with the Stone Wheel, the Diamond Point, and the Diamond Burr. She began to learn the basic cuts while employed in glass shops, but her natural flair with the arts led her to the designs in glass that she now does.
Always an art lover, Catherine's interests encompass watercolor and oil painting, sculpture, and pencil drawings, as well as being with her family.
