Throughout her life’s work, Cathleen Jackson has been helping people transform their lives by finding their own path to realizing their potential. After intensive studies in the areas of art therapy, psychology spirituality along with other energy therapy techniques, Cathleen began her career as a Life Coach. Coaching is all about having someone believe in you and encourage you, about getting valuable feedback, about seeing things from new perspectives and setting your sights on new horizons. But that path, as Cathleen would observe, was often blocked by a paradox of personal growth: identifying and talking about a problem did not necessarily lead to change—even when it did, change could be painfully slow. Cathleen knew there had to be another solution, a means of guiding them more quickly to the answers within themselves. Cathleen found that solution in her training at the Wellness Institute in Washington, where she was certified as a Heart-Centered Hypnotherapist.
Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy combines Humanistic psychology (Gestalt, TA), Developmental psychology (inner child), Behavior modification (classical and NLP), Hypnotherapy (traditional & Ericksonian) and A Heart-Centered holistic approach into a brief, deeply healing new psychotherapy. This approach to treatment includes the body, mind, emotions and spirit of each person involved.
Cathleen Jackson moved from New York City to Hartselle, Alabama in 2005 after eighteen years of active participation in the NYC arts and alternative health arenas. Ms. Jackson is a certified Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist and Yoga Teacher. She specializes in pain and stress management including treating phobias and grief recovery. Each of us has suffered so much loss- job, family, friends, relationships, mobility- and our society provides little comfort or comprehension of long term affects.
