About Cat Adoption Team
The Cat Adoption Team (CAT) is Oregon's largest non-profit, no-kill cat shelter and hospital. CAT rescues, rehabilitates and places the community's abandoned, neglected and injured cats and kittens into loving, lifetime homes.
- CAT's Sherwood shelter is closing at 3 pm on Christmas Eve and will reopen at 10 am on Sunday, December 26.

Cat Food Bank
CAT opened the doors of the first pet food bank in Portland in June 2008. Since then almost 60,000 pounds of cat food has been given to struggling cat owners so they can feed their pet cats. The need is huge. In November 2010, we handed out a record-breaking 4,200 pounds of cat food. Donate a bag of cat food and you will be helping a pet owner right here in this community keep their beloved pet.
The Cat Food Bank is open the first Sunday of every month from 12 - 2 pm at CAT's Sherwood shelter. Get details here.
Affordable Feline Spay/Neuter
If you qualify, you can have your cat spayed or neutered for just $10 at CAT. Get the details here.
