Our original unit, the Cashscan Model 1800, was the first counterfeit detection unit on the market and to this day remains our most popular product with over 125,000 units sold in over 115 countries around the world.
Our units have become more sophisticated as counterfeit notes have become more difficult to detect. We have gone from simple magnetic detection in our base model to denomination recognition, security thread detection, and we are the only company in the world to offer a unit with serial number scanning using OCR technology (Optical Character Recognition). The use of OCR technology allows our equipment to be interfaced with any number of cash management systems allowing for a complete solution to currency handling.
Cashscan uses only the highest grade components in our product and have multiple quality control standards to ensure the highest quality product gets delivered to you, our customer. All our products are engineered in a modular configuration that allows for ease of service.
