- Dr. Ellen McLean is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She graduated from Newcomb College, and completed medical school at LSU in New Orleans in 1975. Dr. McLean did her residency in pediatrics at Charity Hospital. After completing her residency training, Dr. McLean opened her office for the practice of pediatrics in Metairie in the spring of 1979. She has maintained a full-time private practice since that time, but remains affiliated with LSU Medical School as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. Dr. McLean is married and has two children.
