Beginning as a store front operation on College Street in 1957 with one employee, to the present location on South Tryon Street with 45 employees, Carolina Marking Devices is one of the leaders in the manufacture of marking devices. CMD has marked two acquisitions, four locations and as many as 70 in-house employees. Over the years, there have been two CEO’s and three presidents at the reins.
