CarSPIN was launched on May 4th, 2005 as a new name in automotive resources on the Internet. Complete with interactive forums and an open invitation for visitors to submit their own photos and articles to be displayed on the site, CarSPIN was designed from the ground up to become a true outlet for members of the automotive enthusiast community.
As time goes on, CarSPIN plans to integrate a full photo gallery where members can show off their vehicles and even have auto-related blogs and e-mail addresses built into the site. As we raise more money from advertising revenues, it will be used to build CarSPIN into one of the premier automotive resources on the web.
CarSPIN is the latest site in a long line of online successes. It is a sister site of Hurricanes.net, the award-winning tropical weather site, and OceanCast.com, the site that brought the surfing and watersports scene to the web in the 1990s. In addition, BoatSPIN is set to launch in the summer of 2005 to do for boating what CarSPIN is starting to do for the auto enthusiast community. There are additional sites planned for the future as well. So stay tuned, and watch us grow every day!
