Carduus is a partnership between Susan and Gary McDonald. It’s one of three businesses that we run - and we believe that business is fun! Carduus manages the property at Carduus Morrison and has ambitions to acquire other properties to add to our portfolio of holiday accommodation.
We are both directors of the Fly Right Dance Company, a charitable organisation which aims primarily to give dance opportunities to those who do not necessarily have a dance background. You can find out more about what Fly Right does by visiting the company’s website. We love our work with Fly Right - performing and teaching fun dance styles like swing dance as a day job is just great! When we are not performing or teaching as dancers, we can often be found at venues in Scotland doing street theatre-type characters - for example, we have been the Ugly Sisters at Gleneagles Hotel’s Christmas Day celebrations for the past four or five years! Austin Powers, the Easter Bunny, Mad Hatter’s Tea Party - we have been them all! Our website is still under construction, but to give you a flavour of what we do, we’ve got a few pictures!
