Located in the heart of South Jersey, Capps Picnic Park is truly a perfect place to hold a picnic. The park sits on the banks of beautiful Clark's Pond with a pristine waterfront view. The lake itself is known as the cleanest lake in the state with fresh spring water to make it a crystal clear. Although Capps Picnic Park is in the country, it is conveniently located off a major highway.
For over 30 years, Capps Picnic Park has grown a reputation for serving the most delicious BBQ foods. Our spreads cover spare ribs to whole roasted pigs to steamed clams and shrimp to cotton candy and funnel cakes. Seasoned guests know to bring an appetite when visiting our park. The Capps family grew up the food business with a fine restaurant and food stands in Cowtown and the Cumberland County Fair. The tradition started then and lives on today with a new generation of family and their customers.
Over the past several years, most guests have noticed the addition of many exciting activities to compliment the fantastic foods. The end of the 1990's laid the groundwork for the redesigned events with the addition of the carnival games, Spooky Maze and DJ Dance Club. Now with the new millennium, Capps Picnic Park again has risen to the occasion with the X-Treme Rock Climb!
