About CantorsDrivingSchool.com

Cantor’s Driving School has been training and educating drivers in our area for more than 30 years. More than 25,000 drivers have had lessons with Cantor’s. Started by Allan Cantor in 1976, Cantor’s Driving School is now owned and operated by his son Frank Cantor. Cantor’s driving instructors log more than 100,000 miles every year.

Driving school’s are becoming more important now as teenage drivers are twice as likely to get in an accident than their parents were at their age. There are more drivers on the road every day which means more aggressive drivers and more bad drivers. Cantor’s is working hard every day to increase the number of defensive drivers and good drivers on the road.

Cantor’s Driving School offers driver training and driving lessons with male or female instructors. Our professional driving instructors cover all types of driving situations including highway driving, traffic safety instruction, and driver test preparation. Our instructors are very familiar with the PA drivers license test and for drivers preparing for their license test they are great at teaching parallel parking PA certified online driver’s education is available on our website along with more information about our services and driver training packages. Driver Training

Cantor’s offers a variety of driver training packages. The State of Pennsylvania requires that drivers log at least 50 hours of driving with an adult licensed driver in the car. Many parents do not require teens to fulfill this requirement and even drivers who complete these hours often do not receive the well rounded professional instruction available from Cantor’s driver training. Car insurance breaks are offered after 6 hours of driver training although we recommend drivers log at least 10 hours of driving instruction. This gives our instructors time to complete the full driver training program and prepare a new driver for many difficult driving situations they may encounter.

To sign up for driver training programs visit our Driver Training page and find a package that suites your needs. You can pay for the lessons through PayPal using a credit card or debit card, and then call our office to schedule an appointment. Our drivers will travel up to 50 miles from our location in Plymouth Meeting. Parents can pay and schedule lessons for their teens without ever leaving the house.

Driving Lessons

After you schedule driving lessons our instructors will meet you at a location of your choosing and teach you how to drive on your local roads and highways. Common meeting places include local schools, libraries, and other major locations in your area. You can’t miss our new driver training vehicles. All of our vehicles have a 5 star safety rating and they are all high-visibility white cars. Each vehicle features dual-controlled brake systems, ABS, air bags and daytime running lights for safe driving lessons. When drivers see a car clearly marked as a student driver they are more likely to proceed with caution and be more lenient to student drivers trying to merge. Although there are exceptions most drivers are less likely to honk or tailgate a slow moving vehicle if it is marked as a student driver. Furthermore, it is beneficial for new drivers to learn in a student driver car because the passenger side brake will make them feel safer and give them more confidence on the road.

Online Driver's Education

Online drivers ed is available through our website. Our 30 hour online driver’s education course is approved by the PA Department of Education and a certificate of completion can save you money on car insurance. This certificate can also help teens with a junior driver’s license earn their senior driver’s license before they turn 18. Many driver education courses are offered only through direct classroom instruction. These courses are offered only at certain times, and frequently need to be completed on Saturday’s. Our course is completely online and can be completed at a time that is convenient for you.

Cantor’s Driving School – The driving school that gets results

Our driving school specializes in teaching teens and adults how to anticipate what other cars and drivers may do on the road. Our driving tips help student drivers learn what to look out for and how to react in certain situations. These situations could be about other driver’s on the road, certain traffic situations, or weather conditions. When is ok to pass a vehicle? How are driving rules different in the city, the suburbs, and the highway? What are the signs of distracted or impaired driver? Our driving school instructors teach drivers about certain situations and cover topics that even the best drivers and teachers may not think of when teaching their son or daughter how to drive.
