About This Recording
This recording was made with advanced, high-quality digital stereo recording technology using a minimalist philosophy that preserves the true choral blend and natural acoustics of the performance venue to the maximum extent. Most modern recordings within this musical genre are done this way in contrast to more "contemporary" pop studio practices, which Cantus Angelicus, in agreement with many world-renowned choral organizations, considers to be inappropriate to this music.
This is a full production CD with a cover booklet containing complete program notes, photos of the choir and solo performers, all music text, translations of text not in English, and short descriptions of each composer's historical context and personal contribution to stylistic evolution.

On the CD Songlist page, Track 3 offers a complete performance free as a downloadable 96Kbps stereo MP3 file. The file size is 1.1 megabytes. Although still significantly inferior, it is in stereo and much closer to CD quality than the streaming audio samples.
