The basics
Friends of Campus Cats is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that is dedicated (but not limited) to the humane and sensible management of feral and homeless cats on the University of Washington (Seattle) campus. We are not affiliated with any of the many larger animal welfare or animal rights organizations, and indeed we differ with many of their policies on ferals. We are a registered 501(c)(3) organization, and we are listed with GuideStar, one of the online standards for nonprofit accountability.

Sharon: Our founder and president, primary in-house caretaker, public relations department, policy guide, placement specialist, consultant, outreach manager, campus liaison, volunteer coordinator, veterinary liaison, and pretty much everything else. She’s also written most of the website content, and is responsible for the vast majority of the photos you’ll find here.
