- Camp Condor is a children's camp a short drive from Bakersfield, about 22 miles west of the Frazier Park off-ramp on Interstate 5. Since its beginning, Camp Condor has been run by a non-profit group, Westside Children's Camp Association (WCCA). These volunteers work year-round raising funds and working to keep the 10 camper cabins, mess hall, craft lodge, trading post, infirmary, pool house, staff lodge and cook's cabin in tip-top condition. The facility is offered for rent to groups, but it's main function is to provide a summer camp for children. Camp Condor is a childrens summer camp in the Los Padres National Forest.
