Description
The Lake of the Ozarks SCORE Chapter has information about local business counseling, and provides information on workshops and seminars which are offered for business training, and is presented for the business person, or the want-to-be business person living in the 7 county area around the lake. (Camden, Laclede, Hickory, Dallas, Pulaski, Miller and Monroe)
The Chapter, established in 1981, currently has 24 volunteers, most of which contribute to the counseling of those who sign up and request counseling, while others participate in presenting workshops and performing administrative duties, along with counseling clients. SCORE volunteers may be involved in any or all of the following activities; Face-to-face counseling; Email counseling; Training workshop facilitation; Chapter administrative duties; Chapter marketing; Volunteer recruiting; Technology; and Organizational leadership positions; or together as a team, is available to all seeking to improve their financial position in life by starting-up a business, or expanding an existing business.
From the group of volunteers at this Chapter, there will always be a few that have the knowledge and expertise that you need to get you started in business, or to help with a business problem. If you don't ask, we can't help you.
