About Us
Cal's Auto Sales has been serving Abilene with dependable used cars since 1983. We have been at our present location at 1909 Butternut since 1987. We specialize in vehicles from the $2500 to $8000 price range, mostly 1990 to 2000 year models. We offer in-house financing on most of our cars. Our company is licensed, bonded, insured, and committed to doing business fairly.
Most of our cars are new car trade-ins obtained directly from new car dealers. We are fortunate to have a good working relationship with several Big Country dealerships. We buy cars from area "wholesalers" who buy new car trades in volume, and we occasionally buy at dealers-only auto auctions. Also, we buy a few cars from individuals such as friends and relatives when they are trading up to a new vehicle. We service and safety-check our vehicles before we offer them for sale.
Our staff consists of six full-time and part-time employees. We have over 75 years combined experience in the automobile business. Cars are not only our profession, but also our hobby. We consider ourselves true "car people", not just salesmen. We pride ourselves on product knowledge gained firsthand through personal experience.
