Calder Weaving Co Ltd is a private family run business; the Company being founded by the present chairman J.D. Clayton in 1960 who is still active in the company.
Calder employs 24 staff from the local village and many of the staff have been with Calder for quite a number of years.
The present Managing Director is Brendan Clayton with his brother Alan as a production Director and Mary their sister in charge of the administration side of the business.
