Our members are general surgeons in all parts of the country.......rural areas, small towns and cities, and large city hospitals and academic university teaching centres.
Our administrative structure consisits of an executive committee, and a board of directors. The board has a representative from each province, and the 'Chairs' of various committees. Both these bodies meet in February, and also, coincident with our annual association meeting in September each year. At that time we also hold our annual business meeting. We communicate with our members through a regular Newsletter and this page. Our executive office is in Ottawa, Ontario.
