Wow! 101 members and guests attended the February (2005) meeting featuring The Cagle Family. That is the biggest attendance we have had at the Cultural Center. Thanks for coming and thanks to The Cagle Family.
"Their music was and excellent mix of Bluegrass, Old Time and Gospel. The family took turns on lead vocals while dad entertained the audience with his quips about the kids between songs. Clearly everyone was impressed, with plenty of toe tapping around the room. We even purchased a Cagle Family CD. Not only was their lively music so entertaining, but The Cagle Family proved quite an inspiration to us as parents of young children. The teens were quite professional and highly talented. Musical and personal harmony flowed alike among the entire family. They were simply a joy to watch."
This young group of musicians have been creating a buzz everywhere they perform. Starting just five years ago playing in churches around NC and touring the mid-west and southern states, they are a well-seasoned group today. It is a pleasure to have them on our stage tonight.
