CADA and the City of Calvert sponsors AmeriBration on July 4, every year. Events begin on June 27, 2009 with the "Git Fit" 5K run/walk. The Miss AmeriBration pageant is on June 29th at 6 p.m. at the Calvert City Civic Center. For more info contact Kathy Poague at (270) 395-4410 or Shelley Brien at (270) 395-2825. All other events take place on July 4, 2007. The youth talent show begins at 9 a.m. at Memorial Park. The Car Show will be held throughout the day at the Old Park.
