Cabot's Top Ten - Welcome
Description
In 1970 Carlton Lutts started writing his first letter, The Cabot Market Letter, sitting at his kitchen table. In the early years, churning out the newsletter every other week was a real family affair. Later, both his passion for investing and his growing staff prompted him to convert his family's living room into The Cabot Heritage Corporation's office. As the business grew, the addition of still more employees eventually forced the family out of the house! And finally, in 1995, with a dozen employees, the business was forced to search for larger quarters.
Today, Cabot operates out of this converted public library building located in Salem, MA. Constructed of steel, brick and slate in 1934, the building boasts two working fireplaces, chandeliers, built-in bookcases and tall windows. The Cabot Heritage Corporation moved in to its new headquarters in 1995 and Carlton is proud to note that his first three employees are still with him today.
Cabot's Sector Inspector, previously called Internet Stock of the Week, began publication in June of 1999 and is delivered entirely in electronic format.
