An International Service for Conflict Transformation

Conciliation Resources (CR) provides practical and sustained support to people and groups in areas of armed conflict or potential violence. We specifically work with those working at community or national levels to prevent violence or transform conflict into opportunities for development.

Founded in 1994, CR is an international non-governmental organization registered in the UK since May 1996 as a charity (no.1055436) and is based in London, with offices in Sierra Leone.

We work mainly in the Caucasus, Fiji, Uganda and West Africa in partnership with local and international civil society organizations and governments, and publish Accord: an international review of peace initiatives. We are funded through grants from governments, independent trusts and foundations.
