Byrrd Enterprises was founded approximately 30 years ago when several AAFES stores were having a hard time finding other companies to purchase reading list and other titles, because of their low discounts. Mr. Williams took a chance, furnished the books and was eventually given a contract for US stores nationwide.
Byrrd provides a service that no other vendor does. That service is providing professional military reading to the Soldier. We are willing to purchase titles that have very low discounts as well as non-returnable items to ensure that the Soldier has access to the best selection of books and information available. (Please reference the following pages for a sampling of our selection): Army, Air Force and Main Store Top 10 Reading Lists, and Top Sellers and Exclusives. Byrrd pays all shipping costs to the stores, except for an approved 3% of the cost total for overseas stores. The 3% helps to offset the excessive cost of shipping outside the continental US. Byrrd strives to pass on the best discount possible to the customer. Please see Ordering Procedures for more information.
Byrrd prides itself in a quick turn-around policy. From the time an order is received until it leaves for the store is not usually more than 48 hours, usually 24 hours or less. We also try to be as accurate as humanly possible with our shipments.
