About the Munford Weather Page
The Munford Weather page contains data from a private weather station located in the Munford Estates subdivision in Munford, TN. I maintain this station as a hobby.
Data from the weather station is uploaded every five minutes to servers maintained by Weather Underground, a great weather information service that compiles data from over 12,000 personal weather stations. In addition, the Weather Underground website displays official NOAA observations and forecasts.
The same data which is uploaded to Weather Underground is also stored on my home PC and uploaded to my own server every 30 minutes. This provides some redundancy, and also provides an alternate format for the weather data.
