Formerly trading as The Winky Birds Craft Centre in Manchester we have now re-located our craft business and are trading soley online at present in Monkton, Devon. Monkton is a small village nestled amongst the Blackdown Hills as is in the Otter Valley near Honiton in Devon.
This view of Genestic Cottage, on the left of the photograph, was taken circa 1882 when it belonged to the wheelwright, Mr Stamp. On the far right is the Monkton Court Hotel now located on the A30 London-Exeter Road.
Judith Wibberley, of Arty and Crafty Supplies was asked by the Editor of Crafts Beautiful to write 130 original verses for cards makers.
