Description
Butterfly Bend Farm was established in January 1997. It is a private 14-acre farm located on Tankerville Road in Lovettsville, VA, owned and operated by Scott and Debbie Williamson. Scott and Debbie first acquired a portion of the property (3.4 acres) in September 1995 and later expanded the property to include the additional 10.7 corn/hay field with the intention of starting a pyo strawberry farm.
The primary objective is to provide the local community with quality, fresh pyo strawberries and other farm products utilizing methods that conserve the natural balance of the environment. Products featured on the farm include asparagus, garlic, eggs and honey.
A parallel objective is to preserve the established farmland and promote the pollinator [bat, bee, bird, and butterfly] population of Loudoun County, VA.
