Established in 2001 by Tim Bowness and Peter Chilvers in association with Pete Morgan (www.noisebox.co.uk), Burning Shed is an online label and music store specialising in promoting Singer-Songwriter, Progressive, Ambient/Electronica and Post-Rock music.

Additionally, Burning Shed host the official online shops for Porcupine Tree, No-Man, Medium (Jansen, Barbieri and Karn), 21st Century Schizoid Band, Rothko and Hugh Hopper and Hatfield & the North.

Tim Bowness

Primarily known for his work as part of the band No-Man, a long-term project with Porcupine Tree's Steven Wilson, since 1993 Tim has recorded and performed with an eclectic range of musicians including David Torn, Robert Fripp, Alice, Richard Barbieri, Roger Eno and Hugh Hopper.
