Sage Builders was formed by Doug Jessop in 1996 as a custom home builder. Doug began his career as a framer, building large homes in California during the housing boom of the late 1980's. He later returned to his native Utah and continued to frame homes for some of the largest builders in the State. He went on to start his own custom home building operation in the early 1990's, which has grown steadily over the years to become one of the most reputable home builders in the area, known for its' quality craftsmanship and unique attention to style and detail. Sage now builds over 50 homes a year in Utah. Doug recently started a sister company, Sequoia Builders, which is developing the Sleepy Ridge Golf Community in Orem, UT.
At Sage Builders we strive to create for our clients a buying experience that is worthy of recommendation . We will provide this experience by embracing a persistent quest to build it better, to create a home that fits each client, rather than assembling four walls for the masses.
