The Buda Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) was established in 2001. The stated goal of the newly formed corporation was “to increase the tax base and job opportunities while enhancing the community character and natural resources”. Working in concert with the City of Buda and the Buda Area Chamber of Commerce, a large portion of that lofty goal has been realized.
