Welcome to the Buda Fire Department Website! The Buda Fire Department is a combination paid/volunteer fire department. We provide fire suppression and EMS first response to a 75 square mile area of northeast Hays County, including the cities of Buda and Hays. We are situated 15 miles south of Austin, Texas along the Interstate 35 corridor. Hays county is among the fastest growing of counties in the state of Texas.
