- Following the message from the Bishop of Bath and Wells on 'changing lives' we, in Bruton and the surrounding area, were unhappy with the lack of support for our Armed Forces (both in theatre and when they return home) and decided to do something about it! Bruton and District Supports Our Troops is a newly formed group (April 2008) who wish to directly support our Armed Forces, specifically those serving in the front line and in the most danger.
