I love weddings. They’re a feast for the camera. Where else do you find such a spectrum of hope, joy and promise? Each wedding has its own rhythm, its own special beauty. I find that uniqueness inspiring.
My shooting style is “photojournalistic.” I want to capture a feeling of spontaneous beauty. I shoot from my heart and my instincts to find those images that resonate with true emotion. I capture not only the key moments of the day, but also the little intimate moments that complete the story of a wedding.
I started out on the other side of the camera as a fashion model for fifteen years. I pestered some of the industry‘s leading photographers with endless questions about their craft, and you can see that influence in my work. There is a definite fashion sensibility. I also bring my experience to the formal shots so that they feel loose, natural and alive.
