The citizens of Breese and I wish to welcome you to our website. The City of Breese was founded in 1856. It was named for Sidney Breese, the longest serving Chief of Justice of the Illinois Supreme Court. We have a new History Park to celebrate our past. Clinton County Showcase has just renovated the downtown Avon Theater for their productions. These are just two of the ways we are PROUD OF OUR PAST.
