Description
Branston was established in 1969 but it was in 1990, when our partnership with Tesco began, that business really took off.
Since then, business has just got better and better. Today, we represent 66% of Tesco fresh potato sales and we supply 255,000 tonnes of the highest quality product every year. 200,000 tonnes come from our own sites in Lincolnshire, Somerset and Scotland, with a further 55,000 tonnes produced by our Tesco alliance partner, QV Foods.
So it comes as no surprise that our business focus is firmly on Tesco and its customers. But to make sure we also give our loyal growers the best service, we market a further 110,000 tonnes to other outlets, including processors and food service companies.
