Description
A non-profit community based organisation officially incorporated on the 8th November 1994 under the New South Wales Association Act. A Committee elected annually from its membership manages this organisation.
This Association aims:
- To promote the Brazilian culture within the general community.
- To identify and advocate the needs of the Brazilian community in Australia.
- To work towards increasing friendship and cultural exchange between Australia and Brazil.
How can I participate?
- Becoming a member.
- Taking part in the activities promoted by the BraCCA.
- Nominating or electing the BraCCA Management Committee.
- Contributing to the BraCCA News.
- Promoting the BraCCA to your family and friends.
- Being a volunteer.
What are the activities provided by BraCCA?
- Link new arrivals with the Brazilian community.
- Provide information and referrals to mainstream services.
- Annual “Festa Junina”, Brazilian bush party.
- Participation in Multicultural Festivals.
- Promotion of social and cultural events such as the Ritmo Brazilian Festival.
- Portuguese classes for foreigners.
- Translation service for our members.
