Description
The Batavia Community Unit School District was formed in 1911 when the westside and eastside school districts of Batavia combined to form a single district. The district provides educational programs for grades pre-kindergarten through 12 and operates six elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. The current enrollment of the district is nearly 6,000 students.
The Batavia Public Schools, as a partner with family and community in the learning process, prepares each student with the knowledge and understanding necessary:
