Baptist Publishing House is a publishing agency of the Baptist Missionary Association of America. The house offices are located at 4613 Loop 245 in Texarkana, Arkansas. James L. Silvey, the executive director, leads the management personnel who supervise the production, financial, and customer service operations of the company.
Working in-house are editors, artists, accountants, customer service representatives and support staff. Office technology allows the staff to develop products to the prepress, camera-ready stage, including the preparation of color separations. Since BPH is a publisher and not a printer, the printing is done by outside contractors. Although the bookstore order processing and shipping are handled in-house, the shipping of the literature orders is accomplished through outside contractors.
In an attitude of Christian service, the Baptist Publishing House exists to supply resources that honor God, promote salvation, and encourage Christian living. To fulfill that purpose, the publisher has made the following commitments:
