The New Forest Fruit Company Ltd is a major local employer with a staff at the peak of the season of some 300 people. Many of these are overseas employees who stay on the farm in the workers village situated at Penerely Farm. We have a full-time manager and manageress to run the village and provide pastoral care. The New Forest Fruit Company takes the welfare of its employees very seriously and we were pleased to be awarded Investor in People status in 2002.
