Many hate groups misrepresent the site as encouraging illegal activity, often using false information to "evidence" their assertions. Members are sometimes targetted or set up by criminal vigilante groups, due to the controversial nature of the website.
BoyChat remains online despite the difficulties it faces, continuing to provide a sense of community and support for people who are hated for their feelings towards children.
