2. Microsoft Patches are not being applied. A common issue we see at BoxAid is a user not applying Microsoft patches on a regular basis. If you go to a website that may have spyware or adware and you do not have the proper Microsoft patches then it becomes open for a malicious piece of software to install itself on your machine.
