The Bootleggers Appalachian dancers and band
Description
The Bootleggers are a long established group who were reformed to provide people in North Lincolnshire with the opportunity to learn the percussive steps used within the Appalachian clogging and percussive step dance tradition.
A merry band of musicians, an Irish folk/rock band called RIFF RAFF from Scunthorpe in Lincolnshire, appeared at the festival. they took along with them some groupies (mainly consisting of wives, and girlfriends (or both)
During the festival an infectious sound was heard coming from the field. A kind of tub thumping music which echoed American tradition. The members of Riff Raff and their posse decided to investigate.
