Bootheel Golf Club was built in 1996 on the old city of Sikeston land fill. It was designed by architect George Pfaff and consists of Bermuda tees and fairways with beautiful bent grass greens. This feature, in addition to mild winters, allows Bootheel to be playable the year round. The NGA/Hooters professional golf tour came to Bootheel 1997-2001 with PGA Tour star Chad Campbell winning the first KFVS/NGA/Hooters Classic. ----
