Description
The project manager enlists the people needed to complete a project, directs how and when the work shall be done, and then supervises the work to ensure that it is done to the client’s and BooksCraft’s standards.
Our editors are generalists and old pros. If it is apparent to us that a specialist would best serve our client’s need, we hire one. But usually a manuscript’s topic is less important to us than the writer’s ability to express him- or herself. We’ve been comfortable editing manuscripts on fiber optics, French cuisine, enzymology, home financing, investing, the microbiology of soil, earthquake-resistant construction, job-interview techniques, Mozilla, nanotechnology, and optical system design. Did they scare us? Nahhh.
No. You’ll need to find an agent to help you approach publishers. But we can help you put a polish on your work that will help an agent (and a publisher) better appreciate your manuscript’s strengths.
