The Boilermaker Road Race is the best 15K in the USA! Established in 1976, the Boilermaker has been selected by Runners World Magazine and Roadrunners’ Clubs of America as one of the top races in the country. This year marks the race’s 29th Anniversary and you are cordially invited to attend. Check out the 2006 schedule; we’ve lined up a weekend’s worth of celebrations and special events geared for running enthusiasts of all ages.
Welcome to the 29th anniversary of the largest and best 15-kilometer road race in the United States. We are proud that Runners’ World Magazine has selected the Boilermaker as one of the top 100 races in the United States and The Roadrunners’ Clubs of America has selected us as one of the 20 best races in the country. I’m confident that you will find our race and the entire Hall of Fame Weekend to be one of the most enjoyable and fun-filled times you have ever had.
The Boilermaker’s success each year results from many things. We have nearly 5,000 enthusiastic volunteers, over one hundred dedicated sponsors, thousands of spectators lining the course, and the special relationship we enjoy with Utica Mayor Tim Julian, who has run several past Boilermakers and will be running with you on Sunday, July 10th. Finally, after you have experienced the beauty of our great course and the fun of our post-race party at Matt’s Brewery, go home and tell all your friends what a great time you had at the Boilermaker and Hall of Fame Weekend in Utica, New York.
